The World Rugby under 20 Trophy is organized by the sport’s governing body, World Rugby, and is contested by 8 men’s junior national teams with an under-20 age requirement.

•The contest returns to Nairobi this July for the first time after 13 years, since it was last held in 2019 making it a significant event worth following.

•This year’s tournament features Kenya(hosts), Scotland(relegated from the U20 Championship in 2019), Hong Kong(Asia), Samoa(Oceania), Spain(Europe), Uruguay(South America) and Zimbabwe (Africa) and United States of America (North America).

The winner of the event qualifies for World Rugby Under 20 Championship held annually.

DATES: 15th -30th July.

VENUE: Nyayo National Stadium.
